We work with you to create a data-driven skills framework then automatically tag your learning assets against it. Then, we present this content through smart ‘playlists’ which are personalised to the unique skill signature of every user, all in our smart LXP.

Playlists on any topic can be generated by the Filtered engine or chosen by humans. You decide exactly which playlists to show, what order they’re in and who to show them to.

Explore recommendations for an in-focus skill

Priority skills are determined by the Filtered engine based on the user’s role, current situation and expressed goals - their skills signature.

Each playlist includes a set number of assets for a skill, delivered according to the other top priority skills for the user.

For example, a senior leader needs a very different set of ‘leadership’ content to a junior manager.

These playlists use user behaviour to make learning recommendations. The four core recommendations playlists we've deployed so far are:

  • Good matches for the skill signature generated from content the user has bookmarked
  • Good matches based on what the user has marked useful
  • Your activity - recommendations-based learners actions: views and launches
  • Your overall profile - recommendations based on everything we know about the user

Suggestions to solve common learning problems

Every event, problem or goal has its own skill signature - a set of priority knowledge or competency areas required. Goal-based playlists take the skill signature for that goal and calibrate it against the skill signature of the user, so everyone gets the perfect recommendations for their performance goals, such as:

  • Achieving a promotion or pay rise
  • Moving into a different role
  • Becoming a manager for the first time
  • Navigating the performance review process

Learning that people like you found useful

This playlist uses existing users’ activity data to recommend useful resources to similar users. And we avoid filter bubbles using the skills signature to match users rather than the content.
